Mary Jane (Tracey) Balcom

Mary Jane "Jane" Balcom, age 75, of Higgins Lake passed away on Monday April 29, 2019 at Grayling Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.

Jane was born on February 9, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to Michael Lloyd and Mary Agnes (Strong) Tracey. She married Edgar M. Balcom Jr. on May 10, 1986. 

Mary Jane Balcom is survived by her loving husband: Edgar M. Balcom, siblings; Kathy (Art) Kaditz, Barbara (Bob) Bastuba, Mary (Bob) Wier, Bill (Shirley) Rowe and Tricia (Terry) Henderson, son-in-law; Russ Boutell, step-daughters; Cindy Balcom, Tammy Bennett and Tiffany (Ron) Hathorn, grandchildren; Sarah Boutell, Mollie Boutell, Emily Boutell, Halie Coberley, Taylor Good, Nia Hathorn, Jayla Hathorn and Matthew Bennett, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving daughter; Tracey Boutell, brother; John Rowe and grandson; Nicholas Balcom.

Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday May 18, 2019 at Markey Baptist Church, 4736 N. Flint Road, Roscommon, Michigan with Rev. Dr. James N. Kent officiating. The family will greet friends from 11 am until the time of the service. A luncheon will follow.
