Pamela Howitt Obituary

Pamela J. Howitt, age 73, of Houghton Lake passed away on Friday June 29, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Pamela was born on January 23, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio to Hughes and Doris (Birdsall) Southwell. She was married on August 9, 1963 in Pontiac to Kenneth Howitt. Pamela worked as a registered nurse for many years before retiring. The couple moved to Houghton Lake 7 years ago from St. Clair, Michigan. She enjoyed antiquing, going to garage sales, knitting, crocheting but she especially enjoyed crafting. 

Pamela is survived by her loving husband of nearly 55 years Kenneth  Howitt, daughters; Julie (Phil) Kozelski, Rebecca (Steve) Helton and Sallie (Paul) Perosky, eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren, brothers; Michael (Lillian) Southwell and Jim (Dorie) Southwell, sisters; Carol (Jack) Murray and MaryJo Southwell. She was preceded in death by her parents and twin brother; Peter Southwell. 

Per Pamela's wishes cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled. Memorial contributions in memory of Pamela are asked to be directed to the Roscommon County Humane Society.
