Patrick "Pat" F. Pray

Patrick "Pat" F. Pray, age 90, of Prudenville passed away on Sunday October 21, 2018 at King Nursing and Rehabilitation Community surrounded by his loving family.

Pat was born on March 17, 1928 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to Howard and Eva (Donlon) Pray. He served in the US Navy. Pat was married on October 15, 1955 in Windsor, Canada at Christ the King Church to Catherine Marentette. The couple owned and operated three flower shops in Mt. Clemens before retiring and moving to Prudenville in 1983. The couple then opened Better Homes & Garden Realty of Prudenville for 10 years. Pat is a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and the Houghton Lake Moose Lodge where he was the first administrator, he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.  

Pat is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Catherine Pray of Prudenville, children; Kevin (Marjorie) Pray of New Baltimore, Robert (Koreen) Pray of Houghton Lake, John (Debra) Pray of Shelby Township and Laura (Michael) Berthiaume of New Baltimore, ten grandchildren; Bobby, Tiffany, Brittany, Chelsea, Sarah, Dawn, Austin, Anthony, Megan and Ryan, eight great grandchildren and sister; Sister Margaret Pray Ursuleni Order of Chattham, Ontario. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother; Howard Pray.  

Mass of Christian Burial for Patrick F. Pray will be conducted at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on Thursday October 25, 2018 at 11 am with  Rev. Father Peter Eke officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 24, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel. Memorial contributions in memory of Patrick are asked to be directed to King Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. Christler Funeral Home- Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
