Paul Edward Courtade II, age 48 of Lake City passed away September 25, 2018 at his home.
Paul was born July 22, 1970 in Traverse City to Paul and Claire (Nason) Courtade. Paul was a maintenance supervisor at Biewer Sawmill in McBain. He enjoyed spending time in nature while taking walks, hunting, fishing and kayaking. He was self-reliant, and was a homesteader and a farmer. He was a hardworking
father and loved spending time with his family.
Paul is survived by his children: Tricia (Ken) Cummings, Mari Courtade, Michael (Sarah) Burwell, Rebecca Courtade, Gregory Courtade and Danyele Courtade and grandchildren: Kenny, Kortnee, Sophie, Camber, Lorenzo and two more to come. He is also survived by his mother: Claire (Mark) Woodcox, brothers: Ben Courtade, Joe Courtade and Jon Courtade and a sister: Joy Geiger.
He was preceded in death by his father Paul Courtade.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Garfield Township Hall. Interment will take place at Garfield Township Cemetery in Kalkaska County.
