Robert Paul Raynal, age 89, of Houghton Lake passed away on Friday February 8, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born on October 25, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to Paul and Yvonne (Andre) Raynal. He was married on September 25, 1967 in Mt. Clemens to Beulah E. Moore. The couple moved to the area over 50 years ago from Detroit. Robert was the owner of Raynal Construction in Houghton Lake for many years before retiring. He enjoyed building, boating and playing golf.

Robert is survived by daughters; Sarah (Dan) Bachu of Taylor and Diane (Tom) Bonino of Clinton Township, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Beulah E. Raynal, son; Paul D. Raynal, sisters; Evelyn Durocher and Joanne Aldridge and brother; Charles Raynal.

Per Robert's wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Robert are asked to be directed to the Roscommon County Animal Shelter. Christler Funeral Home- Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
