Robert "Bob" C. Tiffin

Robert "Bob" C. Tiffin, age 93, of Houghton Lake passed away on Sunday June 2, 2019 at Grayling Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his loving family. 

Bob was born on October 22, 1925 in Grayling, Michigan to Charles and Helen (Sancartier) Tiffin. He served in the US Army during World War II. Bob worked as a Conservation Officer for the local DNR office for many years. He married Sharon J. Browning on July 12, 1990 in Morristown. Bob was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. He enjoyed working, building, hunting, fishing and was a former guide out west. 

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 30 years; Sharon Tiffin, children; Cathy (Sam) Gardner, Becky Pratt, Gail Thomas, Theresa Moran and Robert Tiffin, siblings; Jeri-Mae Goldnick, Joanne Rasmusson, Jan Cragg, Judith Campbell, Julie Hinds, Jill Harwood, Bill Harwood, Kerri Harwood and Minard Harwood, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; Charles Tiffin, mother; Helen Harwood, brother; Pat Harwood and sister; Jackie Mathewson. 

Mass of Christian Burial for Robert C. Tiffin will be conducted at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on Thursday June 6, 2019 at 11 am with Father Peter Eke officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 6, 2019 from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am at the church. Christler Funeral Home- Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family.
