Sharon Marie (Madill) Hamberg

Sharon Marie Hamberg, age 76, of Houghton Lake passed away on Sunday October 14, 2018 at Pontiac Specialty Hospital.

Sharon was born on September 18, 1942 in Pontiac, Michigan to Cletus and Marie (Sheldon) Madill. Sharon was married on July 28, 1960 in Pontiac to Michael J. Hamberg. She drove bus for the Marion Schools and was the former owner of Hamberg Fence and Lawn Ornaments in Cadillac. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, BINGO and going to the casino. 

Sharon is survived by her son; Michael (Dona Morris) Hamberg of Cadillac, granddaughter; Rachael (Seth) Dumoulin of Port Angeles, WA, significant other; Ken Woletz of Houghton Lake and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Michael J Hamberg and brother; Dennis (Mary) Madill. 

Funeral Services for Sharon Marie Hamberg will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Saturday October 20, 2018 from Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel. Visitation will be held on Saturday October 20, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of the service at Christler Funeral Home- Prudenville Chapel. Memorial contributions in memory of Sharon are asked to be directed to the Roscommon County Animal Shelter. Christler Funeral Home- Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
