Sheila Hildebrant Obituary

Boon - Sheila Diane Hildebrant, of Boon, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Munson Healthcare's Cadillac Hospital. She was 57.

Sheila was born on July 24, 1961, in Cadillac, Michigan to Carroll and Loretta (Graves) Carnahan. Sheila entered into marriage with Michael C. Hildebrant on September 13, 1980, celebrating 38 years together. Sheila built a career for herself, supporting others and helping many while employed with the former Mercy Hospital. Her job was much more than that to her, spanning several years and helping to bridge the gap for many during health concerns. Sheila was able to continuously put others first working in the financial services field of the hospital. Before her eventual retirement, Sheila, went out of her way to help any and all she could, often setting her needs aside to benefit others. She did not allow for any obstacles to slow her down, Sheila continued to persevere. She could often be found passing time coloring or knitting an item to donate back to the hospital, she will truly be missed for her generous heart and love for others.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Michael Hildebrant of Boon; her son, Nicholas (Jen) Hildebrant; three grandchildren, Zackary, Kyle, and Scott; her mother, Loretta; her sister, Sandra (Martin) Overla; a brother, Edward (Audrey) Carnahan; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carroll.

Per her wishes cremation has taken place and private family services will take place. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in care of Mike Hildebrant.
