Tammy Ann (George) Moore

Manton - Tammy Ann Moore, longtime resident of Manton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 27, 2018. She was 42.

Tammy was born on June 22, 1976, in Cadillac, to Carroll and Marlene George. She grew up and attended school in Manton before entering into marriage with Shawn Moore, following a long courting, in 2005.  The couple raised their five children, Tammy doing so as an example of strength and love.  She adored her family and grandchildren, and could often be found enjoying the outdoors or passing time crocheting.  Tammy had a special place in her hearts for animals, especially dogs and cats.  She will be remembered for the time she treasured with her family as a proud, wife, mother and grandmother.  

Tammy is survived by her longtime companion and husband, Shawn Moore of Manton; her children, Lyndia (Lee) Brainerd of Cadillac, Jessie (Katherine) Moore of Manton, Joshua (Miranda) Moore of Cadillac, Aleisha (Dennis) Moore of Cadillac, and Josey Moore of Cadillac; numerous grandchildren, Maverick, Eralyn, Colton, Jace, Oliver, Riley, with another expected very soon, Liam; four brothers, Gary, Timmy, Jamie, and Jerry; a sister, Tina; many nieces and nephews; as well as many good friends. 

She was preceded in death by her father.
 
Graveside funeral services will be held at Fairview Cemetery, located on Seventh Street in Manton, on Saturday, September 8th, at 1pm, with Rev. Steve Boven officiating. 

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in care of her daughter, Lyndia.
