April Lynn Walden

April Lynn Walden, age 61 of Lake City, passed away January 18, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.

April was born June 6, 1960 in Troy, Michigan to Vernon and Barbara (Hoffman) Jeans.

April was a hard worker and a good mother. She was an optimist with a huge heart and a gift to gab.  She always put a positive spin on life and was very caring and generous.

April loved her coffee and chocolate and was an animal lover through and through; especially horses.

April is survived by her significant other,  Donald Winrick and three children: Amanda (Brian) Farley of West Branch, Andrew (Angela) Walden and Alexander (Amber) Walden    both of Lake City.  She is also survived by her grandchildren: Zachery (Sara) Farley, Destiny (Brandon) Young, Courtney Farley, Mable Walden, McKayla (Taylor) Potter,  Austin Potter,  Zachary Potter and Violet Potter and her two special dogs, Lucy and Chong.

Her father, Vernon (Dottie) Jeans of Zephyrhills, Florida , a brother, Mark and a sister, Susan also survive her.

April was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Young-Holdship Funeral Home in Lake City.
