Arthur Krull Sr. Obituary

Marion - Arthur W. Krull Sr., of Marion passed away at home with family by his side on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. He was 83.

Art was born on October 28, 1942 one of seven eventual children to Warren and Charlotte (Grim) Krull. On June 29, 1968, he married the love of his life, the former Karen Ann Kramer, celebrating over 58 years of love, marriage and family.

Art will be remembered as a true outdoorsman whose life was rooted in nature, family, and craftsmanship. He found great joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures of life - spending quiet mornings hunting, peaceful afternoons fishing, and many treasured days camping in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan, a place he held close to his heart.

Art was a man of skill and dedication, a true craftsman whose hands could build not only with wood, but with love and purpose. A gifted woodworker, he took immense pride in creating and completing the retirement home he and his beloved wife would share, a lasting symbol of the life they built together. Whether he was working on a project, tending the yard, or caring for his garden, Art was happiest when he was outdoors, surrounded by the beauty he appreciated so deeply.

He also enjoyed life’s comforting traditions, often savoring a hearty meal of venison and mashed potatoes after a day spent in the woods or by the water.  Above all, Art’s greatest accomplishment and deepest pride was his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a cherished grandfather whose kindness, steady presence, and wonderful sense of humor brought joy to all who knew him.  Art leaves behind a legacy of hard work, laughter, love for the outdoors, and a family forever grateful for the time they shared with him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Karen A. Krull of Marion; children, Barbara (Pat) Reittenbach of AuGres, Marshall Krull of Glennie, Arthur "Artie" Krull, Jr. of Millersburg, and Lena (Richard) Schoch of Marion; grandchildren, Neil Reittenbach, Nolan Reittenbach, Kody Krull, Kavn "Bear" Krull, Kolty "Wolf" Krull, Jordan (Jennifer Archambeau) Schoch, Jacob Schoch, Kelsey Schoch, John (Destiny) Schmidt, Cynthia (Austin) Hayes, Austin Schoch, and Kuryn Schoch; two sisters, Claire and her husband, Sonny, and Linda and her husband, Rod; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many other loving family members and friends.  He was preceded in death by his son, David Krull; two grandsons, Patrick Ross and Keegan Krull; his brothers, Loren Krull, Arnold Krull, Eugene Krull, and Lyle Krull in infancy.
