Barbara Beer Obituary

Barbara J. Beer, age 84, of Prudenville formerly of Berkley passed away on Thursday October 4, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was born on June 11, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Robert and Bessie (Schickles) Turner. She worked as a School Crossing Guard before retiring. Barbara was married on September 21, 1950 to Warren Beer. She enjoyed gardening and sewing and enjoyed spending time in Northern Michigan.

Barbara is survived by her son; Marvin (Robin) Beer and daughter; Catherine (Martin) Beer-Rankell, grandchildren; Zara Patnode, Cheyenne, Tabitha, Sabrina, great grandson; Cole, sisters; Lois Perry, Sharon Wendelkin, Karen Lamby and Cindy Franklin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Warren, grandson-in-law; Christopher Patnode and seven siblings.

Private Family services were held. Interment was in White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy, Michigan. Christler Funeral Home- Prudenville Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
