Barb Hill, age 68, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026 at the Wrights AFC Home in Manton, with family by her side.
Barb was born January 25, 1958 in Cadillac, Michigan, to Hugo and Anna (Helsel) Hill.
Barb spent many dedicated years working at Cadillac Rubber and Plastics in Cadillac, Michigan, where she was part of a Community Mental Health work program. She took great pride in her work, but looked forward to the day when she could say she was officially ‘Retired’.
In her younger years, Barb loved the simple joys of life-riding her bike around Jennings, stopping to visit friends and family, and being a central part of the daily life of her community. She had a beautiful spirit that was unmistakably her own. Those who knew her remembered her as funny, the life of the party, always wanting a hug and never forgetting a birthday. She made everlasting memories with the people she touched.
Barb was deeply loved, not only by her family, but by the many people who watched over her, supported her, and shared life with her.
Barb is survived by her brother, Lewis Hill and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers: Kenneth, Robert, Raymond and Richard and her sister, Shirley Eising.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Jennings Community Church.
The Young-Holdship Funeral Home of Lake City is serving the family. Words of comfort and memories may be shared on www.holdshipfuneralhomes.com.
