Beatrice Lou (Kranich) Garver, passed into eternity on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Autumnwood of McBain. She was 87.
Beatrice was born on April 1, 1939 in Gladwin, Michigan to Daniel and Lillian Kranich. As the second born to a family of four girls, she had an older sister, Dorothy, and later, two younger sisters, Vivian and Valerie. Beatrice resided in Michigan the majority of her life, with the exception of attending Fort Wayne Bible College in Indiana, as well as serving with the Nazarene Mission in Ramah, New Mexico for twelve years. After her father, Daniel passed away, Beatrice and Vivian helped to care for their mother, Lillian. During this time Beatrice also worked for the bank in Lake City, and then later for the bank in McBain. On May 25 2002, Beatrice married Clifford Garver. The couple resided in Falmouth until his passing in 2013. Beatrice eventually moved to Marion to be near to the Marion Baptist Church, where she served as a pianist for many years. During this time she enjoyed her friendships she made, becoming especially close to Tony and Frances Maddox. As her health deteriorated, she relocated to her residence at Autumnwood in McBain. Beatrice was known for her cheerful, positive outlook on life. With EVERYONE that she met, she was eager to share her love for Jesus, and what He had done in her life!!
She is survived by her loving sisters, Vivian Kranich and Valerie DeWitt; step-children, Brenda Adkins and Clifford Garver, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Beatrice was a tremendous blessing to MANY people.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; her parents, Daniel and Lillian Kranich; and her older sister, Dorothy Tourangeau.
