Fife Lake - Bonnie Lou Nyenhuis, age 75, of Fife Lake, MI passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 27, 2022.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Roger Nyenhuis of 29 years; her children, Karin Toothman and Kris (Mark) DeKleine; her stepchildren, Brenda Witteveen and Rick Nyenhuis; her grandchildren, Ashleigh, Aubrie, Jordyn, Nick, Rachael, and Taylor; her great-grandchildren, Payton, Trevor, Trenton, and Kolton; and her sister, Carolyn (Tom) Devlin. She was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Enid Schuitman.
Bonnie’s favorite place to be was her ‘Up North” home. She treasured her family and lifelong friends at every opportunity she could. Having 30 people over for a fun weekend to entertain at her place was at the top of her list. She definitely knew how to throw a party! She loved their many years of camping and all the fun at the NASCAR races. She was dedicated to the American Legion Post 219 in Fife Lake, volunteering her time for over 25 years.
A Celebration of Bonnie’s Life will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the American Legion Post 154, located at 2327 Byron Center Ave. SW, Wyoming, MI 49519 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. An additional Celebration of Life will be held in Fife Lake at a later date.
