Brian Kelly

Brian Kelly, of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 205 at his home following a short illness. He was 66 years old.

Brian was born on June 11, 1958 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Richard William Kelly and Geraldine Faye Reedy. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and being outdoors around the river and pond on his property. He always lent a helping hand to his family and friends when they needed it. He always looked forward to his time spent with his friend, Claude at the buck pole ranch.

Brian is survived by his brothers, Kevin Kelly (Kathy Farley) of Indian River, Todd (Laurie) Kelly of Marion; his sister, Shannon Carmody of Marion; step-son, Jeffery Squier (Tara) of Marion; step-mother, Joyce Offley of Big Rapids; step-siblings, Colleen (Jim) Lomonaco of Grand, and David (Wendy) DeWeese of White Cloud; brother-in-law, Don Johnson of Grand Rapids; sisters-in-law, JoAnne DeWeese of Pierson, and Lisa Murphy (Pat) of Pierson; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Marie Uber and Tina Powell of both of Marion.
  
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Jim Carmody; his father, Richard "Dick" Kelly; his mother, Geraldine Carmody; and three step-siblings, Mark DeWeese, Steve DeWeese, and Doreen Johnson.

Per Brian's wishes, no memorial service will be held at this time. Friends and family are planning a Celebration of Life to take place in the summer.
