Catherine Rose Aisthorpe, 73, of  Prudenville passed away on Wednesday February 25, 2026 at home with her loving family by her side.

Catherine was born on May 19, 1952 in Hazel Park, Michigan to Charles and Patricia (Herron) Kingston. She grew up in Macomb County and graduated from L'Anse Creuse High School. On July 7, 1987 Catherine was married in Reno, NV to Ronald   Aisthorpe, who preceded her in death. Catherine worked as a Medical Office Assistant in hospitals and doctor's offices, including Dr. McEllory's Office in Prudenville. The couple moved from Macomb County to California for a short time and then settled down in Prudenville 35 years ago.  Catherine and Ronald owned and operated the Ace Glass Art in Prudenville where Catherine showed her talents in glass art and custom glass etching. She was also very talented in bead art, diamond art, and Swedish Embroidery.  Catherine enjoyed to read in her spare time, but her special love was spending time with family and especially the grandchildren.

Surviving Mrs. Aisthorpe are her three sons, Joseph Bohm of Fairview, Jonathan (Lisa) Bohm of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and James(Heather) Aisthorpe of Mayville; four grandchildren, Lindsey, Faith, Brandon, and Juliana; two great grandchildren, Wyatt, and Riley; two sisters, Patricia Dawn(Floyd) Prough of Houghton Lake, and Tammy Martin of New Baltimore; two brothers, Donald Kingston of Macomb Township, and Michael(Candace) Kingston of Noblesville, IN; several nieces and nephews.  Catherine was preceded in death by her parents;  husband, Ronald Aisthorpe; and brother, Charles Kingston. 

A Celebration of Life service for Catherine Rose Aisthorpe will be conducted at a later date.  Interment will be next to her beloved husband Ronald at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.  Memorial contributions in memory of Catherine are asked to be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
