Charles Pascoe Obituary

Manton - Charles Franklin "Cowboy" Pascoe, of Manton, passed away at home on Sunday, May 2, 2021. He was 82.

Charles was born on February 5, 1939, in Detroit to Edward Nelson and Eleanor Loretta (Cooper) Pascoe. On September 5, 1986, Charles entered into marriage with the former Kay L. Weikel in Traverse City.

Charles spent over 50 years driving truck for several companies.  Driving a truck and trailer was a career he truly loved and was able to log over 4 million miles safely.  Crisscrossing the country, over the road, Charles made many notable trips loaded with all sorts of items from trains to petrified wood.

In younger years he could often be found, golfing, bowling, putting together a puzzle.  Over the years he created many great memories with Kay, visiting the Manton Truck show or the Buckley Old Engine Show.  He thoroughly enjoyed the time and friendships he made while he visited the Merry Inn and Iron Skillet for coffee each day.

Charles is survived by his loving family, Edward (Janet) Pascoe of Kingsley, Rene (Richard) Miller of Ft. Gibson, OK, Valerie Fick of Traverse City, Susan Pascoe of Holland, Stevean (Melissa) Pascoe of Kingsley, and Charles Pascoe of Kingsley; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren with another eagerly anticipated very soon; one brother, Robert Pascoe; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Pascoe; his parents; siblings, Eleanor Moore, Jack Pascoe and Mike Pascoe; and a beloved granddaughter, Barbie.

Per his wishes cremation will take place and memorial services will be held at a later time.
