Charles F Rueckert

Charles F. Rueckert, age 80, of Prudenville, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Charles was born on May 17, 1945, in Lansing, Michigan, to Kenneth and Helen (Hill) Rueckert. He was married on August 21, 1965, in Lansing, to Judy Thompson. He retired from General Motors after 23 years. Charles was a member of Faith Community Church in Houghton Lake and enjoyed NASCAR, in his earlier years, hunting and fishing.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Judy Rueckert, daughter, Dana Rueckert, son, Chad (Christine) Rueckert, eight grandchildren, Brooke, Tori, Alyssa, Nick, Josh, Emily, Jake, and Katie, and sister, Connie Sluyter. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Jodi Rueckert, and sister Debra Witt.
