Bloomfield Township - Charles "Chuck" Dean Raden, age 69, lifelong resident of the Lake City area, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at home.
Chuck was born on July 9, 1952, in Cadillac, Michigan to Richard and Lena (Fockler) Raden. He was born into a large family with seven siblings. He was a graduate of Lake City High School. In earlier years he participated in various men's softball leagues and enjoyed a round of golf with friends and family. Chuck could often be found working around the house, tending to the yard or preparing for hunting season. He was a member of the Lake City Eagles and was an avid deer hunter, taking advantage of every season he could. Chuck will be deeply missed by many.
Chuck is survived by his longtime girlfriend and partner, Teresa Walden of Bloomfield Township; his son, Jason Raden and daughter Lindsey (Ryan) Boyle along with his 3 grandchildren Finnegan, Delcan and Olivia. His brothers, Ray (Rochelle) Raden, Ken (Linda) Raden, Bill (Colleen) Raden, Doug (Judy) Raden; two sisters, Anne (Bob) Gothard, and Jean Clason; one sister-in-law, Audrey Raden; numerous nieces, nephews; as well as many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard "Fox" Raden.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on November 13th from 12 - 3 at the Lake City Eagles. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
