Clyde "George" Allan Powers

Clyde "George" Allan Powers, of Cadillac, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in Tustin, Michigan. He was 77.

George was born on July 23, 1946 to Clyde and Elsie (Bowman) Powers in Cadillac, Michigan. He entered into marriage with the former Sharon Kay Stephan in Cadillac. George spent his career working as maintenance supervisor at the former Paulstra in Cadillac. In his spare time he could often be found outdoors, hunting and fishing. 

George is survived by sister, Dorothy (Bob) Alexander; sister-in-law, Susan (Alan) Gassel; brother-in-law, Ed (Mary) Stephan; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Kay Powers; his daughter, Marisa Powers; sisters, Lois Flint, Erma Forbes, and Lona McConnell; brother-in-law, Fred Reinke; and his parents, Clyde and Elsie.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Farmer to preside. Interment will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac, where he will be laid to rest next to his wife and daughter.
