Dale Ormand Auger

Dale Ormand Auger, age 88 of Lake City passed away on December 20, 2021 at his home.

Dale was born February 9, 1933 in Flint, Michigan to Virgil and Beatrice Auger.

He married the former Mary Judith Reale on February 19, 1955 in Riverside, California.  Mary preceded him in death November 28, 2009.

Dale was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post 300 in Lake City.  He moved to the Lake City area in 2000. He actively enjoyed woodworking and hunting and fishing.

Dale is survived by his two sons, Dale V. (Cynthia) Auger and Douglas C. (Teresia Boller) Auger and a daughter in law Penny (John) VanDuinen and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister and several nieces and nephews.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, an older brother and two sons, Domenic and David.

Cremation has taken place and graveside services will be held at a later date in the Old Jennings Cemetery with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post 300 of Lake City.
