Dale C. Bennett

Dale Cleo Bennett, age 93, of  Roscommon, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the Curry House in Cadillac.

Dale was born on January 27, 1933, in Trenton, Michigan, to Arlo and Emma (Nelson) Bennett. He served in the US Army. Dale was married on April 25, 1953, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Patricia Lee Barrett. Dale worked as a special service repairman for Michigan Bell. He retired after 33 years. The couple spent their winters in Florida and summers in Houghton Lake. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Prudenville. He was an avid golfer and fisherman.

Dale is survived by his loving children, Michael (Carol) Bennett, Thomas Bennett, and Karen (Oren) Sagher, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and his brother, Lynn Dean Bennett. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patricia, his daughter, Jennifer Vaprezsan, his granddaughter, Madison, and his grandson, Leeland.  

Funeral Services for Dale will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, February 20, 2026, from the First Baptist Church of Prudenville with Rev. Douglas Stockwell officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Prudenville. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 10 am at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Ypsilanti, Michigan. Memorial contributions in memory of Dale are asked to be directed to the First Baptist Church of Prudenville. Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
