Daniel Christopher Tuchel

Daniel Christopher Tuchel, 52, of  Houghton Lake passed away on Saturday June 20, 2020 at his home.

Daniel was born on December 31, 1967 in Detroit, Michigan to Dennis and Maryellen (Reimer) Tuchel. He grew up in the Detroit are where he graduated from Notre Dame High School. Daniel worked as an equipment repairman for Metropolitan Office Supply in Detroit.  The company expanded to West Branch and Dan moved with the company.  He then settled in Houghton Lake in the late 1990's.  Dan also worked the last few years for Andre Tree Service of Houghton Lake.  He enjoyed being outdoors, and working on cars and motorcycles.                                  .

Surviving Mr. Tuchel are his daughter, MacKenzie Tuchel of   Denver, Colorado; sister, Cheryl(Mark) Klos of Saint Clair Shores; and many friends, including Joy Brushaber, Randi Marie Brushaber, and David Nowland.  Daniel was preceded in death by his parents. 

Private family services will be held for Daniel Christopher Tuchel.  Memorial contributions in memory of Daniel are asked to be directed to the Michigan Humane Society.
