Deborah L. Huffman

Cadillac - Deborah Lynn Huffman, age 65, of Cadillac passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. 

She was born on August 30, 1960, in Toledo, Ohio, to Dallas and Minnie Eddy, and was raised by, Clarence Orville Billett.  Deborah was a devoted mother and grandmother. Though petite in stature, she possessed a generous heart and a deeply independent spirit. Her strength and determination were evident throughout her life, and her love for her family remained constant and unwavering.  She dedicated 15 years of service to American Cleaners, where her strong work ethic and reliability were well known. Demonstrating her commitment to personal growth and perseverance.

She was deeply committed to her ministry and found purpose in serving others. One of her greatest honors was officiating the marriages of three of her sons, a reflection of both her faith and the trust her family placed in her.

She is survived by her loving children, Tabitha (Nathan), Joseph (Jessica), Jessie (Erika), Eric (Emily), Melissa (Jason), Wesley (Laura), and Jennifer (Adam); her 23 grandchildren; her 3 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Bill Eddy, Joanne Eddy, Donna Eddy, Randy Billett, and Lilly Billett.  She shared a longstanding and meaningful relationship with Joe, whom she lovingly referred to as her boyfriend. The bond they shared remained a steady and important part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Minnie Eddy, and her brothers, Wayne and Dallas.

A visitation and memorial gathering for friends and family will take place Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home in Cadillac from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family online at www.Hitesman-Holdship.com
