Delores Arlene Webb

Delores Arlene Webb, age 87 of Lake City passed away Saturday,  January 19, 2019  at home.                                                                                                                                                

She was born June 27, 1931 in Jackson to Wilder and Charlotte (Miller) Bishop and graduated from Cadillac High School in 1949.  Dee married Charles R. (Butch) Webb May 13, 1950 in Cadillac. Butch preceded her in death in 2014.

She was employed as a bookkeeper and secretary at BF Goodrich in Cadillac for 10 years and then held the same position with Lake City Schools from 1966 to 1992. Many days she could be found walking or riding her bike to work. She enjoyed a game of golf, picking out a song on the quitar, singing and also playing the organ.  Dee’s family members  were  the recipients of her many hand knit items, including socks and mittens, just to name a few.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Dee is survived by three daughters:  Kristine K. (Patrick) Kotz and Sherry Fauble both of Cadillac and Shelly (Timothy) James of Lake City. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Jennifer Douglass, Jeffrey Helmboldt Jr, Jessica Wiersum, Jodie Meyette, Janelle Tribley and Stacy Heck, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, as well as a brother, Wayne Bishop of Garland, TX and a sister, LaVonne Emmons of Cadillac.

Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation will take place and a graveside service will be in the Lake City Cemetery at a later date.
