Denis Wayne Stith

Denis Wayne Stith, 74, of  Houghton Lake passed away on Tuesday May 27, 2025 at home with his loving family by his side.

Denis was born on May 16, 1951 in Dearborn, Michigan to Rolley and Mary "Darlyne" (Cooper) Stith. He grew up in the Dearborn and Wayne areas and graduated from John Glen High School in Westland.  Denis then went on to attended college for two years.  He worked as a contractor and developer of subdivisions in the Detroit area.  He also worked as a tool and die operator in the Detroit area.  On September 30, 1998 Denis was married in Toledo, Ohio to Linda E. Perrin.  The couple moved from Westland to Houghton Lake 14 years ago.  They enjoyed traveling and Denis perused his love of cars.  He rebuilt several cars over his lifetime including a Corvette and a Mustang.

Surviving Mr.Stith are his loving wife Linda Stith of Houghton Lake; three sons, Michael (Heather) Stith of AZ, Matthew (Shelly) Stith of NC, and Jeffrey (Judy) Stith of Lake Orion; step daughter, Christy (Mike) DeBerry of Westland: step son, Shayne (Lorena) McFarland of Houghton Lake; several grandchildren and great grandchildren including Annabelle and Emmagrace, who had spent the last 8 years with their grandparents; two sisters, Pam (Donna) Stith of Wayne; and Laura Stith of Detroit; several nieces and nephews.  Denis was preceded in death by his parents; step son, Daniel McFarland; step daughter Jamie Carver; and brother Martin Stith.. 

At the request of Mr. Stith there will be no services.  Memorial contributions in memory of Denis are asked to be directed to the Roscommon County Animal Shelter.
