Dennis Ray Kranick

Dennis Ray Kranick, 72, of  Prudenville passed away on Thursday April 8, 2021 at home.

Dennis was born on September 20, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan to Elmer and Donna (Hutchkins) Kranick.  He grew up in the Saginaw area and entered the Army in 1967.  Dennis served during the Vietnam War as a lineman in the Army until his discharge in 1970.  He worked as a Tug Driver for Ford Motor Company at the Utica Trim Plant for many years. Dennis moved from Lansing to Grayling and then 10 years ago moved to the Houghton Lake area.  He loved being outdoors, including, fishing, hunting, camping, and riding his motorcycle.

Surviving Mr. Kranick are his daughter, Kimberlee(Harry) Brusati of North Branch; son, David Kranick of Detroit; grandson, Zachary(Samantha) Kranick; three great grandchildren, Natalie, Izabella, and Lacey.  Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jesse Brusati; sister, Sharon Rosebrock; and brother, Eugene. 

Family services for Dennis Ray Kranick will be conducted at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.  Memorial contributions in memory of Dennis are asked to be directed to the Veterans Administration.  Christler Funeral Home, Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
