Dolores J. (Niebrzydowski) Frever

Dolores J. Frever, age 75, of  Lake City passed away on Friday February 7, 2020 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Dolores was born on July 19, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to Victor and Helen (Kukowski) Niebrzydowski. She was married on January 2, 1970 in Southgate to Terry L. Frever. The couple moved to the area in 1973 from Auburn Hills. Dolores retired from Houghton Lake Community Schools after 25 years of teaching. She enjoyed baking and gardening and would spend hours outside everyday.  

Dolores is survived by her loving husband of 50 years; Terry Frever of Lake City, siblings; John (Pamela) Niebrzydowski of Lake City, Rosemary (Donald) Rehbein of Southgate, Larry (Sharon) Niebrzydowski of Lake City, Leon (Ann) Niebrzydowski of Sterling Heights and Victor Niebrzydowski of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Memorial Service will take place at Christler Funeral Home- Houghton Lake Chapel located at 6651 W. Houghton Lake Drive, Houghton Lake, Michigan 48629, on Saturday February 15, 2020 at 11 am with Father Christopher Jarvis officiating. The family will greet friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 10 am until the time of the service.
