Donna Jean (Hoag) Hagerman

Donna Jean Hagerman, 92, of Carson City, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 26, 2022, with family by her side. Donna was born on July 13, 1930, to Raymond Timothy "Tim" and Rhoda Mae (Hosner) Hoag in Owosso, Michigan. She married George Eugene "Gene" Hagerman on September 9, 1950 in Carson City, Michigan.

In 1968 she and her husband accepted Jesus as their savior and joined the Mt. Hope United Brethren Church shortly after. Donna enjoyed working in the church nursery caring for the babies for many years. She also enjoyed reading her Bible, crafts, fishing, gardening, feeding the birds, lighthouses, country living and spending time with her family.

Donna is survived by her family; daughter, Beverly (Gary) Hummel; sons, Dave (Sherri) Hagerman, Roger (Denise)Hagerman, and Eric (Tammy) Hagerman; grandchildren, Travis (Tracine) Hummel, Chad (Jennifer) Hummel, Jeremy Hagerman, Layne (Amy) Hagerman, Kristen (Carson) Morgan, Ryan (Elizabeth Mulder) Hagerman, Kirby (Kathleen) Hagerman, Chanda (Josiah) Darr, and Kyle (Alexis) Hagerman; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Duerr; and many nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Thomas Hoag, sister, Leatrice Fleisher; and daughter-in-law, Charlene Hagerman. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Mt. Hope United Brethren Church in Carson City, Michigan at 1 p.m. with a visitation held an hour before the service. Her son, Pastor Eric Hagerman, will be officiating. Luncheon to follow service.  Burial will take place at the Burke Cemetery in Carson City. Memorial contributions may be directed to Elara Caring Hospice.
