Douglas Ferguson Obituary

Douglas Leroy Ferguson, age 73, of Prudenville passed away on Thursday March 19, 2020 at The Villa of Rose City. 

Doug was born on July 17, 1946 in Hazel Park, Michigan to Herbert and Virginia (Domina) Ferguson. He served in the US Army during the  Vietnam War. Douglas was married on June 6, 1969 to Suzanne M. Haslacker. The couple moved to Prudenville 2 years ago from Gladwin. He was a retired truck driver. Douglas was a member of  Gladwin VFW Post and Gladwin American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. 

Doug is survived by his loving wife of 50 years; Suzanne M. Ferguson, sons; Brent Ferguson, Greg Ferguson and Keith Ferguson, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren, sisters; Linda (Ronald) Hipol and Rose (Tim) Williams, brothers; Mike Ferguson and Mark Ferguson, brother-in-law; Gerie Blanton. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Margie Blanton. 

Per Doug's wishes cremation has taken place and a Military Honor's service will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan on Friday June 26, 2020.
