Obituary

Duncan Alisdair Riley, age 74 of Lake City, formerly of Estes Park, Colorado passed away at home surrounded by family.

Duncan was born October 12, 1948 in Pontiac, Michigan to Clare and Darlene (Beckman) Riley.

He graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Geology and thoroughly loved climbing the great Colorado Rockies. Duncan also enjoyed cross country skiing and fencing.  

He was a housing manager in Estes Park and had crafted many beautiful woodworking pieces of furniture which are treasured by his family.

Duncan enjoyed playing the Northumbrian Pipes and participating in Renaissance Fairs.

Duncan is survived by his sister, Beverly Stiles and nephew, Fred Stiles Jr and great niece, Felita Behrens

He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Patrick Stiles and brother in law, Fred Stiles Sr.

Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Michigan.
