Earl E. Wirick Jr.

Earl E. Wirick Jr., age 75, of Prudenville passed away on Thursday November 7, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Earl was born on January 31, 1949 in Dearborn, Michigan to Earl and Hazel (VanDette) Wirick. He graduated from Lowery High School. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Earl worked as a specialist for the State of Michigan. He was married on October 2, 1999 in Houghton Lake to Julie Ward. Earl was a member of the Houghton Lake Eagles. He enjoyed football, softball, watching all sports, reading and following politics.

Earl Wirick is survived by his loving wife of 25 years; Julie Wirick, children; Melissa (David) Miland and Mathew Wirick, grandchildren; Connor and Skylar, siblings; Clare Wirick, Carole Leining and Cynthia (Bill) Wilson, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister; Barbara Conrad.

Per Earl's wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
