Edward "Mike" Griffore, age 81, of Houghton Lake passed away on Thursday November 25, 2021 at The Brook Retirement Community of Houghton Lake.

Mike was born on April 24, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Elizabeth (DeMeritt) Griffore. He served in the US Army. Mike was a machinist for many years before retiring and moving to the Houghton Lake area over 34 years ago from Livonia. He enjoyed working in his yard everyday.

Mike is survived by his children; Clifford Griffore of Houghton Lake and Sheryl (Jay) McMillan of Alabama, grandchildren; Katie and Tommy, sister; Shirley Alexander of Lewiston and brother; Bob (Mary) Griffore of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Terry and Ted.

Per Mike's wishes cremation has taken place and private family services will be held. Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
