Edwin H. Wegner

Edwin H. Wegner, 75, of  Prudenville passed away on Saturday September 20, 2025 at Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.

Edwin was born on August 1, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan to Edwin Sr. and Maxine (Dankert) Wegner. He grew up in the Freeland area where he graduated from Freeland High School.  Following high School Edwin started working for General Motors, having many different positions over the many years with General Motors.  He moved from Freeland to the Prudenville area in 1985. Edwin was married on October 31, 2007 in Roscommon to Kellie Grace Naples.  Edwin was a member of the Houghton Lake Moose and enjoyed golf and pool.  He especially loved spending time with his great Shih Tzu companion, Chumlee.

Surviving Mr. Wegner are his loving wife of 17 years, Kellie Grace Naples-Wegner of Prudenville; and son, Jeffery  Wegner of Wisconsin.  Edwin was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Wegner. 

There will be no services for Mr. Wegner at this time. Memorial contributions in memory of Edwin are asked to be directed to the American Heart Association. Christler Funeral Home, Prudenville Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
