Ernest "Ernie" C. Emerick Jr., age 77, of Prudenville passed away on Saturday October 30, 2021 at Beumont Royal Oak Hospital.

Ernie was born on March 23, 1944 in Flint, Michigan to Ernest and Frances (Eberhard) Emerick. He was married on May 18, 1974 in Burton, Michigan to Margaret R. Mertz. The couple moved to Prudenville in 1995 from Flushing. Ernie enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Ernie is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Margaret R. Emerick of Prudenville, son; Jeff (Kristy) Emerick of Flushing, grandchildren; Alexis, Dyllan, Ayla and Gavin and great grandchild; Lahni. He was preceded in death by his parents.
