Estella "Tillie" N. (Boorech) Gray

Estella N. "Tillie" Gray, 88, of  Prudenville passed away on Saturday September 27, 2025 at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital.

She was born on June 4, 1937 in Shippenville, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Violet (Hartman) Boorech.  On September 1, 1960, she married Kenneth S. Gray in Canada.  He preceded her in death.

Tillie owned the former Family Restaurant in Prudenville, for many years where she was known for her hard work and friendly spirit.

She is survived by her son, Shawn Gray of Harbor Springs; her daughter, Tammy (Richard) Mitchell of Prudenville; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Josephine Boorech, and Mary Wetzel; brothers, Paul Boorech, Gerald Boorech, and Larry Boorech; as well as many nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; daughter-in-law, Wendy Gray: and siblings, Erma, Clara, Chuck, and Ed. 

At Tillie's request, no services will be held.
