Frank Harold Ashbaugh

Frank Harold Ashbaugh, 90, of  Houghton Lake passed away on Thursday March 6, 2025 at his home with his loving family by his side.

Frank was born on August 6, 1934 in Oil City, Pennsylvania to Frank and Bertha (Johnson) Ashbaugh. He grew up in the Oil City area where he graduated from Kane High School and went on to receive his Bachelor's degree. Frank served in the Army Artillery as an SP3 from 1955 to 1957. During his time in the Army he met Joyce Marie Casavoy and they where married in Joyce's hometown of Johnstown, New York on August 11, 1956.  Frank worked as a Engineer for GM in Detroit for many years before his retirement.  The Couple moved to Houghton Lake from Warren over 20 years ago. Frank enjoyed boating, fishing, taking trips in the RV, and an evening sip of Gin.

Surviving Frank Ashbaugh are his daughter, Lucinda Ashbaugh of Houghton Lake; son, Andrew (Rayetta) Ashbaugh of Clinton Township; four grandchildren, Jordan (Joseph) Bradley, Antonio(Channel) Pisasale, Katilyn Ashbaugh,and Brandon Ashbaugh; five great-grandchildren, Vincent Bradley, Vivian Bradley, Valentino Bradley, Brayden  Ashbaugh, Kameron Ashbaugh, and Calogero Pisasale; several nieces and nephews.  Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife Joyce Ashbaugh: and brother, Lawrence Lloyd Ashbaugh. 

Celebration of Life Services for Frank Harold Ashbaugh will be conducted at a later date.  Memorial contributions in memory of Frank are asked to be directed to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
