Garlo "Dale" Walker Jr., age 82, of Prudenville passed away on Monday July 4, 2022 at home.

Dale was born on April 27, 1940 in Coal City, West Virginia to Garlo and Lillian (Moore) Walker Sr.. He retired from Great Lakes Steel Company where he was a machinist for many years. Dale was married on June 12, 1981 in Roscommon to Carol Smith. The couple had moved to Prudenville 20 years ago from Brighton. He was a simple man and was good at retiring.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years; Carol Walker of Prudenville, brother; Larry Walker of Florida, step-daughter; Sharon (David) Bolda of South Dakota, three grandchildren and his dog; Carol. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother; Pete Walker.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time. Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
