Gerald "Rob" Robert Hall

Marion - Gerald Robert Hall, "Rob", of Marion and formerly of Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at home. He was 58.

Rob or Robbie as he was known by most, was born on May 29, 1964, in Clinton, Missouri to Clyde and Donna (Rowan) Hall. He grew up and attended school there and was a member of the 1980 graduating class from Calhoun High School.  Rob proudly served his country with the United States Army. Following a chance encounter at Hannah's Mini-Mart in Fair Play, MO, Rob met the former Megan Latoski, the two hit it off and were wed on August 30, 2003. Rob and Megan's family grew with the birth of their pride and joy, their son, Cole.  They relocated to Michigan to make their final and forever home in Marion in 2020.

Rob made his living as a union laborer, but his true passion was for the outdoors. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast, hunting, trapping, coon hunting with his beloved hounds, hiking, horseback riding, and farming. Rob was rarely seen without his sidekick, Cole, as he ventured out into the woods.  He was an excellent handyman and was able to showcase his talents as he finished off several homes over the years. He will be deeply missed by many.

Rob is survived by his wife, Megan Hall and their son, Cole both of Marion; his mother, Donna M. Hall; his three siblings, Dana (Patty) Hall, Cheryl (Randy) Warner, and James (Stephanie) Hall; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Travis (Debbie) Latoski; Jacob (Flo) Fath, Jake (Chelsie) Gawne; his father-in-law, Lenn (Tracey) Latoski; special aunt and uncle, Duane (Gwen) Stanford; six nephews; five nieces; as well as many friendships that were developed in the Marion Community. Rob was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Gerald Hall and his mother-in-law, Denise Chambers-Fox;

Funeral services will be held at the Fosnaught-Holdship Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 1:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Hall Family in care of Megan Hall.
