Gordon "Gordy" Roy Falor Jr.

Gordon Roy Falor Jr., of Cadillac, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at his home in Cadillac. He was 68.
  
Gordon was born on September 7, 1957 to  Gordon Roy and Shirley (Mongar) Falor Sr. in Cadillac, Michigan. His life was defined by dedication-to his family, to his work, and to the people fortunate enough to know him.

Gordy took tremendous pride in being a father and grandfather. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he never missed an opportunity to cheer them on, offer his guidance, or simply share a warm laugh with them. His love for his family was steady, unconditional, and unmistakable. He was a hardworking man through and through, Gordon believed in giving every task his best effort. Whether on the job, at home, or helping a neighbor, he approached life with reliability, determination, and a quiet strength that inspired those around him. He was also known for being stubborn and strong-headed at times-qualities that, while occasionally challenging, were rooted in his fierce independence and unwavering sense of what he believed was right. Gordy enjoyed being in the outdoors and felt most at peace when working in his yard. He also shared a special bond with his cats, whom he loved dearly. Another passion that brought Gordy great happiness was motorcycles. He loved the freedom of the open road, the sense of adventure, and the simple thrill of riding-moments that reminded him to enjoy life fully and on his own terms. His presence brought comfort; his laughter put a smile on your face. Though he will be deeply missed, the love he gave and the lessons he taught will remain with his family forever.
  
Gordy is survived by his loving significant other, Lee Moore; children, Nicole Falor, Chad Schalau, Dustin Falor, Sarah Falor, Ashley Falor, Devin (Tyler) Bell and Taylor (Chris) Hamilton; grandchildren, Malaki, Sophia, Lilah, Payton, Sarah, Timmy, and Cyrus; siblings, Diane (Eli) Torres, Linda (Dave) Strange, Gary Falor Sr., David Falor and Terry Falor; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
  
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jamie Falor; and a nephew, Gary Falor Jr.
  
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
