Helen M. Schrank

Helen M. Schrank, age 75, of Prudenville passed away on Tuesday June 7, 2022 at McLaren Bay Regional Hospital in bay City with her loving family by her side. 

Helen was born on October 26, 1946 in Saginaw, Michigan to Raymond and Teresa (Revard) Gelski. She was married on May 23, 1987 in Saginaw to Edward "Bud" William Schrank III. Helen moved to Prudenville in 1988 from Bridgeport. She was a wall paper hanger for many years before working for Chartwells in the Houghton Lake Community Schools and for the Burr Group. Helen was a member of ESA and Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. She enjoyed working, fishing, cooking, baking and gardening. 

Helen is survived by her children; John Cyborowski of Houghton Lake, Cindy (Dave) Hales of Flushing, Cassandra Ackley of Roscommon and Troy (Krista) Cyborowski of Freeland, seventeen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, step-daughters; Cherie Schrank of Houghton Lake, Lisa (Dale) Needham of Grand Rapids and Amy Schrank of Bay City, sisters; JoAnn Jankowiak of Saginaw and Lisa Quinn of Saginaw. Helen was preceded in death by her mother; Teresa Spears and father; Raymond Gelski, husband; Edward "Bud" William Schrank III, sister; Aileen Glover and Victoria Lindsay-Robbins. 

Funeral Services for Helen M. Schrank will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Saturday June 11, 2022 from Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel with Father Peter Eke officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday June 11, 2022 from 10:00 am  until the time of the service at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
