Henrietta Ethel (Lock) Heitmeyer

Henrietta Ethel Heitmeyer, 73, of  Prudenville passed away on Friday May 30, 2025 at home with loving family by her side.

Henrietta was born on September 21, 1951 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Kenneth and Loretta (Tatie) Lock. Henrietta grew up in Pittsburgh until moving to Flint with her family at an early age. She finished her schooling in Flint and graduated from high school at Flint Beecher. Henrietta was a homemaker and mother of three children.  She moved from the Flint area to Prudenville in 1987. Henrietta  and her dog, Shadow, were very fond of each other and were inseparable. Her special love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving Mrs. Heitmeyer are her two daughters, Stacy (Tashawn) Harrison of Cheboygan, and Stephanie Kosutich of Houghton Lake; son, Kenneth Oakman of Prudenville; six grandchildren; sister, Cherlan (Gerald) Ebare of Higgins Lake; two brothers, Robert Lock of Flint, and Sam Lock of Constantine; and several nieces and nephews.  Henrietta was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Henry Lock. 

At the request of Mrs. Heitmeyer there will be no services.  Memorial contributions in memory of Henrietta are asked to be directed to the family. Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
