Henry Albert Wier Jr., of Marion and formerly of Goodrich, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Pleasant Ridge Assisted Living in Marion. He was 82.

He was born on June 17, 1940 to Henry and Mabel (Raynor) Wier Sr. in Goodrich, Michigan. On August 2, 1958 he entered into marriage with the former Lois Marie Hutchinson. He spent his career working for General Motors until his time of retirement. Henry enjoyed spending time with his family.

Henry is survived by his loving wife, Lois Wier; children, Jeff (Annette) Wier, Kathleen Pebbles, Debbra (Lenny) Banks; grandchildren, Jeff Wier, Kevin Wier, Tim Pebbles, Lenny Banks III and Alisha Morgan; several great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Cook; and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mabel; sons, Gregory Wier and Henry Wier III.

Interment will take place at Goodrich Cemetery on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
