Janet M. (Graybill) Zolin

Janet M. Zolin, age 82, of Houghton Lake passed away on Wednesday November 17, 2021 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland with her family by her side. 

Janet was born on January 2, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to Myles and Margaret (Dedenbach) Graybill. She was married on June 13, 1959 in Detroit to Peter Zolin Sr. The couple moved to Houghton Lake in 2014. Janet was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. She was a dedicated wife and mother.

Janet is survived by her daughters; Bernadette Spitale of Virginia, Rita Zolin of Prudenville and Maria (Lou) Tomma of Houghton Lake, son; Peter Zolin, Jr. of Houghton Lake, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren, siblings; Douglas Graybill, Jack Graybill, Roberta (Glen) Wurm, Kathleen (John) Finazzo and Patricia Hunko. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Peter Zolin Sr., siblings; Lois Zifillippo, Marlene Locke and Thomas Graybill. 

Mass of Christian Burial for Janet M. Zolin will be conducted at 11 am on Tuesday November 23, 2021 from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with  Father Peter Eke officiating. Interment will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday November 22, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel.
