Janice Ilene Jurczyk, 78, of Roscommon passed away on Thursday May 18, 2023 at her home.
Janice was born on January 16, 1945 in Trenton, Michigan to Charles and Melba (Stedman) Ferguson. Janice graduated from Grosse Isle High School. After pursuing some college courses, Janice worked as a Corporate Manager for Volkswagen and Audi in Auburn Hills retiring in 2013. Janice was married on May 18, 1986 in Rochester, MI to Ronald Jurczyk. They owned property in the Higgins lake area for over 25 years, moving here permanently in 2015. Janice built her home on the lake and lived there peacefully until her passing. Janice was a member of Houghton-Higgins Elks Lodge and cared deeply for her family throughout her life.
Surviving Janice Ilene Jurczyk are her Daughter, Debra (Jeff) Wagner of OK; Grandchildren, Matthew, and Andrew Wagner; Siblings, Chris (Loretta) Ferguson of OK, Nancy (Ralph) Croslin of Belaire, and Carol Watson of Rockwood; Janice is further survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Jurczyk; her Parents, Charles and Melba Ferguson; and her Sister Debra.
No formal services are scheduled at this time.
Memorial contributions in memory of Janice are asked to be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
