Jeanette Elizabeth Erickson

Jeanette Elizabeth Erickson, age 84 of Lake City passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at her home.

Jeanette was born March 9, 1934 in Rockford, Illinois to Herbert and Vega (Thorell) Erickson. She married Frank D. Erickson on December 29, 1956. He preceded her in death in 2007.

Jeanette loved horses and her dogs and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a warm and generous person.  Jeanette was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Lake City.

She is survived by her children: Joseph (Marie) Erickson of Lake City, Joy (Dennis) Howard of Bledsoe, KY, Lori (Dan) Santoro of Lake City and Rick (Jamie) Erickson of Corpus Christi, TX,  five grandchildren, Tracy, James (Fallon), Daniel (Florina), Jodi (Luke) and Kelly, six great grandchildren: Raven, Ashley, Zachary, Jaylea, Olivia and Madeline and  four step grandchildren: Emily (Rod), Randy (Alexis), Marie (Dan) and Nick (Kelly).

She is also survived by a brother, Daniel Erickson of Racine, Wisconsin and a sister in law, Darrel (David) Snyder of Lacey, WA.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Jean.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the St. John Lutheran Church in Lake City with Pastor Jean Smith officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the Pioneer Township Cemetery.
