Jerry Munroe Curry

Jerry Munroe Curry, of Manton and formerly of the Flint area, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan. He was 81.

Jerry was born on August 13, 1942 to William and Helen (Houston) Curry in Flint, Michigan. He spent his career working for General Motors for over 28 years until his time of retirement in 1993. Jerry loved spending time with his family and friends, especially playing in a game of pool. He liked all sorts of clown collectables and enjoyed making special trips to the circus. He loved animals and had many special pets. Jerry enjoyed being outdoors and was often found tending to his garden or going for a motorcycle ride. He loved surrounding himself with his family and cherished the time spent with them.

Jerry is survived by his children, Bill (Sheri) Curry of White Lake, Michigan, Joe (Sara) Curry of Highland, and Greg (April) Stepanian of Cadillac; grandchildren, Joey, Nathan, Billy, Tyler and Savannah; former wives, Judy and Carol; sisters, Gloria Curry, Juanita "Kaye" Hamilton, and Marilyn Dones; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Helen Curry; and two brothers, Don and Mike Curry.
  
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 2 p.m. with visitation held one hour prior at Hall-Holdship Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Manton.
