Jessica Louise Tighe

Jessica Louise Tighe, age 48 of Lake City, passed away on December 9th, 2024, at her home.

Jessica was born on April 5th, 1976, to John and Vickie Caldwell in Rochester, MI. She grew up in LeRoy, MI, and attended Pine River Area Schools where she graduated in 1994. Jessica married Justin Tighe on September 30th, 2000, and settled down in Traverse City, eventually moving to Lake City in 2006. 

She devoted her time as a stay-at-home mom after the births of her children. In 2010, Jessica attended Ferris State University where she graduated with her Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology degree. 

Jessica enjoyed trips to Lake Michigan, spending time with her children and family, camping, vacationing in Orange Beach, AL, dancing in the kitchen, and reading a good book. She treasured her family and believed the best of everyone around her.

Jessica is survived by her husband, Justin Tighe of Lake City, their two children, Natalie (Brandon Hamel) Tighe of Lake City and Maris Tighe of Lake City; and her parents, Mark and Vickie Engler of Tustin. She is also survived by her sisters, Johnna (Brian) Ross of Traverse City, Hillary (Sara Stryker) Engler of Reed City, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Caldwell, Grandparents, George and Sarah Miller and Robert and Dolores Yates. 

A visitation will be held January 6th, 2025, at 12:00 pm with a Celebration of Life starting at 1:30pm. Both events will take place at Young-Holdship Funeral Home in Lake City, Michigan. Luncheon will follow at Clam Lake Township Hall, 8809 E M-115 Cadillac, MI, 49601.
