Joseph A. Lamb

Traverse City, Michigan- Joseph Arvid Lamb, of Traverse City, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Green Acres AFC in Traverse City.  He was 100.
 
Joseph was born on March 25, 1918 to Joseph and Cora (Grover) Lamb in Dighton, Michigan. Joseph enjoyed working in the garden, tending to the animals on the farm, mowing the grass, watching his “grandchildren” grow, and going on road trips with his Foster Care Family.
Joseph is survived by his nieces Claudia and Carmen; his family at Green Acres as well as many other loving friends.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and several of his good friends.
 
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a committal will be held in the spring of 2019 at Sherman Township Cemetery.
